My name is Nei Caetano da Silva. I’m a Brazilian who’s been living in the U.S. since 2000. I like the place so much I became a citizen. These days, I’m proud to raise a family here with my beautiful wife.

I’ve been working in the industry for over 15 years. I’ve been lucky enough to work in amazing places with incredible people. I’ve worked for big, small, corporate, independent, traditional, digital and integrated agencies. I even founded and ran a small creative agency here in San Francisco for four years. We called it Brothers by Choice.

As a creative director, I’ve worked in many different ways—from taking a more hands-on approach with the work to taking a step back and managing a large department. I see advantages to both approaches. Sometimes, to do good work you need to collaborate. Sometimes, you have to make the call.

I can work scrappy or with the best in the business. I can tell stories or create functional applications. I can sell products or build brands. I can manage others or do it myself.

I want to do work that consumers think is awesome. I want the client to see me as a friend that cares about their business. And I want my agency to be honest and ethical.

It’s all about doing the best work, but it’s about the people, too.

So let’s have fun together.

Peace, Nei
